Today I offer a little anti-motivation One thing to remember guys is exersice is alot like life, in life we often push to hard. We are always tring to make things better for us or our families or our boss. We lose track of vactions and days off. You have to stop and smell the roses, I guess thats my point. Our workouts are the same in a way. We want to bring it, we have to show everyone we can handle the extremes. Thats great, right up till your knee cap shoots across the room as Tony would say. This is not a marathon to be ran at a slow pace, but it isn't a sprint to the finish line either. Give it your best each time but rember there is no bonus points for injuries, in fact they will wipe out most of your gains. Be tough, but be smart, lets get out of this with all our parts functioning. Greg

A truth I'm dealing with (again) as we speak. It's hard accepting setbacks or forcing yourself to take a step back once in a while - especially when it's not part of your nature to do so.
Thanks Greg. Good timing on the post. I had a rough weekend myself staying motivated given my current injuries. It's all good though! ;D
I still owe you a post and I'll get it up soon so we can figure out a decent routine during my down time. ;D

Goal achievement, especially when it comes to health and fitness, can be a mystery. Most of us have no trouble with Step 1 (Setting the Goal). Setting a goal is the easy part, it's those other steps that can be a puzzle.....
DO create a plan. DON’T wait for "someday" to roll around.
DO start small. DON’T focus on too many things at once.
DO write it down. DON’T forget to give yourself a deadline.
DO be specific. DON’T deal in absolutes.
DO leave room for failure. DON’T expect perfection.
DO track your progress. DON’T fool yourself into failure.
DO reward your success. DON’T beat yourself up over failure.
DO find a support system. DON’T try to do it alone.
If your here you have followed the first and last step, now, just connect the dots!
