Well 190+ days and the devil finally got me, it actually happened back on day 145 or so...tendonitis in the right elbow, I figured I could power through it and it would heal...NOPE!
So making a few modifications.
1) Resting the joint. Treating with heat 3 times a day.
2) No lifting for 2 weeks of any kind that regqires me to bend the elbow, thats the one that sucks. I can still do my leg days as the weight just hangs, no bending at the joint.
3) I will do plyo on Tuesdays and run on Thur/Sat.
4) I will still do some lifting on the left side as it is the weaker of the two, help it catch up alittle.
5) Pray it heals, lol.
Being injured doesnt mean you do nothing, you just modifie...now where have I heard that before....

Well the elbow is feeling better, will do light lifting with it this week. Saturday I ran a 6:58 mile, that made me very happy! Makes you wonder how fast you could go if your life depended on it, lol.

Nice Greg - glad to see you were able to work around it!! Tendonitus in the elbow is tough.

Thanks, havent done any MAJOR lifts with it yet, will ease into it this week and see how it feels. Glad your back! Posted up a thread for you if you care to use it.

Well I did back and chest today, about 1/2 normal weight per lift but feel pretty good, wore a brace for the elbow. Will see how it feels after the cool down. from how it feels now I would say the initial injury came on arms and shoulders lifting day and was either from a poor lift or to much weight on a hammer curl or pro. curl....just when you think you are invinciable, lol.

Yea, I'm a bit skiddish on rather I'm even going to lift friday....might give the arms another rest day, not sure. I think if I hold off I'd be ready to get back to full routine by Monday morning.
