ST0P LOOKING AT THE SCALE!
It will lie to you every chance it gets, 1 time per week is plenty. There are to many factors to effect the scale reading. Get you diet plugged in get your workouts under control and the scale will follow ....
most people will attempt working out and eating better for about a month, and they won’t see a big difference on the scale, so they give up.
Truth be told, if you don’t see a big difference on the scale in your first month, it doesn’t mean much at all.
Don’t buy into what the scale says or doesn’t say.
Trust the effort you are putting into getting healthy.
And keep going!
Not only are there changes going on in your body that you can’t see, there are changes going on in your spirit – with your discipline, your courage, and your will power.
As you get rid of the fat and replace it with lean muscle your weight can change very little at times but you will be losing fat and getting slimer around the waist.
;D

Congrats on staying motivated here Jimmie.... Greg is definitely correct when he says don't concentrate on the scale... I just completed my 2nd round of p90x and during this round I only lost about 6 lbs.... This was VERY frustrating to me but I checked my measurements at the end and I lost 1.5 inches in my chest and waist.... So keep your eye on measurements (I myself do once a month at most) and not the scale

Correct, if your hips, waist and chest(if you have man boobs)are decreasing in size and your arms and legs are increasing in size, things are going your way! As the fat weight comes of in the decrease and the muscle goes on in the increase your weight at times may move very little.
Keep pushing play fellas!

Thanks you two, you guys really keep me motivated! Glen last night I read through both of your VS. posts and was really happy to see youve done well. I really wish I would have stuck with it before so I could be where your at, but no looking back im looking ahead now Just remember there will be days that im down and unmotivated, just have patience give me that push I need and I will succeed. One thing ive noticed, the day after a workout the soreness sucks, but the next day the soreness is that good itchy healing feeling soreness. My back does hurt a bit today but not enough to lay me up, I may have pushed a little extra hard yesterday out of frustration with my earlier performance. Pain blockers on Wed, keep me in your thoughts and/or prayers.. Im not looking forward to those needles

Try not to push "to hard" exspecialy with the pain blockers, you may not realise till its to late that you have hurt yourself.

Finally Ive gotten to the point that I can eat the calories I need..I was having a real rough time getting them all in but last night I woke up hungry, I snacked on a few carrots and thought hmm thats weird. Today I dialed in my diet 31.5/49.2/19.2 split with 2050 calories...Damn it feels great to get that down. Also I go pick up my bike today and will attempt my two mile ride

Woot Woot, still a bit concernd at the under 2200 calories but let it play out for a couple weeks and will see how it looks. Once your body realizes that those calories will be there everyday it will get away from the starvation mode and start burnig some fat.
