Ok day 2.... plyo cardio circuit.... All I can say is this NOT your momma's p90x.... LOL... WOW what a killer..... I have heard the warm up kicks a lot of peoples butt's and felt pretty good doing the warm up... Challenging YES butt kicker eh, not so much to me.... the workout however... I found myself winded and taking breaks quite a bit during the last set of moves on the medium speed and all out speeds.... I can tell this is definitely what I needed to get my cardio up

Ok Yesterday was Cardio Power & Resistance.... Not too bad but still harder than anything I've done before... I am not sure if my soreness from the two previous workouts were what caused it or my decision to not use Jack3d but I didn't seem to have quite the energy of the two previous days....
Today was Recovery... I really hate recovery days of any sort... Stretching, Slow squats and lunges, and yoga moves.... I just don't think I'm patient enough for all of those LOL

Pure Cardio.... Man this workout is NO JOKE.... Even Shaun T falls out at the end..... Starts with your typical 10 min warm up then about 8 min stretch and then 16 mins of NON STOP cardio... This workout does NOT repeat exercises but pushes you a little harder with each move.... I of course had to take breaks of my own during it but when I get to the point where i can do this without stopping I will know that I am doing something right

Ok... Week 2 has begun.... Cardio P&R today... I pushed through... The key is to try to do more than you did the last time.... The first month is really a repetition of the same 4 cardio's with a recovery day on Thurs, so you do a lot of repeating... This week I will repeat Cardio P&R and Pure Cardio... None of these workouts are really easy but Pure Cardio has no breaks so I really dread that one LOL...

Still kicking strong with Insanity... already seeing gains in my cardio, can get through the whole 10 min warm up without stopping... Monday is a fit test so I'll be able to see how I'm doing.... This week I skipped recovery and pushed my last 2 workouts up a day so that I could get them all in... going out of town for the weekend, hope you have a great weekend

Recovery must be a running joke at Beachbody HQ..... This is recovery week for insanity, the workout you do isn't as intense as the regular workouts but you do work up a sweat.... I'm down about 6 lbs from where I started and lost an inch in my belly, Monday starts month 2's workouts, one hour long and expecting them to REALLY kick my @ss....
